The Detroit March for Our Lives is an inclusive student-led march being organized by a coalition of very dedicated metro-Detroit high school students, with support from a large group of university students and adult allies. People of every age, race, ethnicity, citizenship, and gender will come together for this cause, and all are welcome.
MARCH BEGINS PROMPTLY AT 11 AM.
SPEAKING BEGINS AT APPROXIMATELY 12:30 PM at the end of the marching route, which is in front of the Renaissance Center along the Riverwalk.
We will start at Rivard Plaza, walk west along the Riverwalk to Hart Plaza and cut through it toward Jefferson. We'll cross Jefferson and walk north on Woodward to Campus Martius, where we'll turn around and follow the sidewalks on the other side of Woodward back to the Riverwalk for speaking in front of the Renaissance Center (river side).
