Join us at Detroit Book City's Juneteenth Books, Poetry & Arts Fair 2018 at Northwest Activity Center, 18100 Meyers Rd, Detroit, MI. 48235 on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 12 noon — 8pm This exciting one-day event celebrates «FREEDOM» in the expression of books, art & spoken word — - at the family level.
Spectators will buy African-American self-published adult and children's books, spoken word artists CDs and hand crafted items from artisans who create paintings, drawings, ceramics, croquet knits, candles, soaps, beauty products, jewelry & tasty edibles and more…
You'll also enjoy LIVE, interactive children storytelling and 'LIVE' spoken-word performances via a captive audience, KIDZONE, FREE health screenings & musical sounds by DJ Holly.
Bring your family, church members, book club, youth group, school, neighbors, girlfriends, sport teams… EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!

We are NOW accepting the following exhibitors: Book Authors, Spoken-Word Artists, Visual Artists, Artisans and Food Vendors. Food Vendors must obtain a 1-Day Food Permit from the City of Detroit. Exhibitor Registration Fees: (Early Bird Special ends April 1, 2018)
Authors/Visual Artists/Artisans — $65 Early Bird / $75 Regular
Food Vendors — $99 Early Bird Special / $125 Regular
Tent 1 — Spoken Word Artist Set — $25 for 20 minutes
Tent 2 — Children's Storytelling Session — $15 for 15 minutes
All Exhibitors are provided with 1 table, 2 chairs & exhibitor badge. No electricity is provided. Vendors can bring their own 8' x 8' ONLY Tents, at your discretion.
